Buenos Aires, December 15 (NA) -- San Lorenzo's leadership will hold a meeting on Tuesday, December 16, to read the sentence for a group of board members. According to the Argentine News Agency (NA), the meeting will take place in the club's main box at 11:00 (Argentina time). This meeting is to comply with a request from the judiciary made on October 9 of this year, for which the president, Marcelo Moretti, was cited by the Public Prosecutor's Office for 'disobedience' in the case that investigates him for the alleged receipt of bribes. Amid the investigation into Marcelo Moretti and other members of his board for the alleged acceptance of bribes in exchange for securing the starting position of a youth football player, San Lorenzo will comply with the judiciary's request and hold a board meeting. The meeting will take place this Tuesday, December 16, starting at 11:00, in the main box of the Pedro Bidegain stadium, the 'Nuevo Gasómetro', and will be attended by all leaders. Among the various topics to be discussed, the main one will be a new reading of the sentence issued by the National Civil Chamber against nine members of the board: President Marcelo Moretti, Vice Presidents Julio César Lopardo and Andrés Terzano, Secretary Martín Cigna, Pro-Secretary Alejandro Barros, Treasurer Leandro Goroyesky and Pro-Treasurer Carina Farias, Secretary of Minutes Alejandro Tamers and Intendant Juan Sagardoy. Those mentioned above were also summoned to the Public Prosecutor's Office of the Federal Capital on the same Tuesday at 13:00 for having disobeyed and delayed the holding of the meeting, which had been requested by the judiciary in the first days of October. Among other topics, the members with a valid mandate on the board and those who decide to resign will be considered, so the club could be left without a leader again. The licenses of the club's current Secretary and Treasurer and the subsequent redistribution of positions due to previous resigniations will also be considered. Finally, the bankruptcy petition filed by the firm Ais Investment Fund and a call for an assembly, also demanded by the judiciary, to consider the memory and balance exercises corresponding to the years 2023 and 2024, which have not yet been presented, will be considered.
